What is the difference between The Breeze and The Shift?

The Breeze is designed for homeowners returning to their own property; it's about comfort and readiness. We air the home, make the beds, check the systems, and make sure it feels like home the moment you walk in. The Shift is for short-term rental hosts who need a property turned over between guests; it's faster, more process-driven, and includes a photo report and damage check. Same attention to detail, different purpose and client type.


Do you provide cleaning as part of The Shift?

Yes, for properties with 2 bedrooms or fewer, cleaning is performed directly by Chinook Property Ready and included in the service. For properties with 3 bedrooms or more, cleaning is coordinated through a trusted partner cleaner. In that case, the cleaning fee is billed separately at the cleaner's rate, plus a coordination fee on our end. Property size and cleaning scope are confirmed at booking, not on arrival.


How do you confirm the property is ready after a visit?

Every service includes a completion report with photos and written notes sent to you directly after the visit. You'll know what was done, what was checked, and if anything flagged attention. For The Reset, the report is more detailed and structured to support move-out documentation if needed. You don't have to wonder, you get a record every time.


Can you handle last-minute bookings?

We do our best to accommodate short-notice requests depending on availability, but we can't guarantee same-day service. The Shift in particular has time-sensitive check-in windows; the earlier you book, the better we can prepare. If you're an STR host, we recommend scheduling turnovers as soon as a guest checks out, not the morning of the next check-in. For urgent situations, contact us directly and we'll be honest about what's possible.


Do you service my area?

We serve Bragg Creek, Redwood Meadows, Millarville, Priddis, Pirmez Creek, Harmony, and Cochrane. A travel surcharge may apply depending on your location. Visit our Service Area page for full coverage details and zone information.


What happens if the job takes longer than expected?

Each plan includes a set amount of on-site time in the base rate. If the property requires more time (due to size, condition, or scope) additional time is billed at $75 per hour. We will always flag this before continuing, not after. No surprises on your invoice.


Can I book recurring services?

Yes. Recurring bookings are available for all preparation services, whether that's regular turnovers between STR guests, seasonal visits, or scheduled readiness checks before each family trip. Recurring clients get scheduling priority. Contact us to set up a recurring arrangement that fits your property and calendar.


What does The Reset cover that a standard cleaning doesn't?

The Reset is not a cleaning service; it's a move-out assessment and property readiness process for long-term rental turnovers. It includes a structured condition report with photos, a readiness inspection of appliances and plumbing, minor repairs and adjustments, and move-in readiness verification. It's designed to protect landlords between tenants, not simply to clean the property. Cleaning can be added as a separate coordinated service if needed.
